Summary

Fr. Mike highlights the goodness of Hezekiah as king of Judah but also points out his failure to protect the future of his people. While Hezekiah let his self-interest cloud his judgment, we are reminded to pray for those who will come after us, doing our best to preserve what will be theirs one day. 1:02.3	In those days, asc. became sick and was at the point of death.
1:06.3	And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amaz, came to him and said to him,
1:09.8	Thus says the Lord, set your house in order. For you shall die. You shall not recover.
1:15.3	Then asc. turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying,
1:19.8	Remember now, O Lord, I beg you, how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart and have done what is good in your sight.
1:26.8	And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him.
1:32.8	Turn back and say to Hezekiah, the Prince of my people,
1:36.3	Thus says the Lord, the God of David your Father. I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you.
1:44.3	On the third day, you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add fifteen years to your life.
1:50.3	I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the King of Assyria,
