0:13.5	Second Kings opens by recounting Moab's rebellion against God and the people of Judah.
0:18.0	And we'll come back to this when we get to chapter 3 in a few minutes.
0:21.3	Meanwhile in the Northern Kingdom of Israel, their king falls through a roof and is injured.
0:26.2	He wants to know if he's going to recover.
0:28.0	So he asks his people to seek answers from a false god.
0:30.8	But Alzabub, you may recognize that name, but maybe you didn't know this is where it came
0:35.2	from.
0:36.2	And you may also recognize the name's meaning.
0:38.7	It translates to Lord of the Flies.
0:41.7	But the one true God is privy to all that's happening, so he sends the angel of the Lord
0:46.2	to give Elijah an assignment.
0:48.0	Elijah needs to rebuke the king's servant for seeking out guidance from a false god and
0:52.8	let them know their king Ahaziah will die.
0:55.8	Ahaziah is not happy with Elijah's message, of course, so he sends 50 people to threaten
1:00.5	him.
1:01.5	But when they get there, Elijah pulls out his trademark moves of calling down fire from
1:06.0	heaven and consumes them.
1:07.8	Ahaziah must think it's a fluke because he sends a second and then a third set of people
1:12.1	to confront Elijah.
1:13.6	By the third set, the captain is nervous because now 100 people are toast.
