Otherwise, we're going to go ahead and pray, get into it today.

Lots of wisdom being offered to us through Solomon in the

book of Proverbs chapters 27 through 29. And we will be reading from the ESV by Crossway

translation. So let's pray. Heavenly Father, we love you. We thank you so much for this time,

this space, this day, the ability to breathe, to be alive today. We give you all of the praise, honor,

and glory because you are worthy of it. You are deserving of it. It's the least that we can do.

Lord, I pray that as we open up your word today, that it will be that daily manna, the very food

that we need to be able to feed our souls, but it will be that living water that quenches

the thirst that we have.

We know that when we come to your word, Lord, it is going to fill us up in such a way that we aren't going to go after other things. This is the very thing that will keep us from seeking the things of the world. And so we want to be able to live our lives in honor of you, in reverence, and fear. And so I just pray that this will be the start right here. Thank you, Lord, for every willing heart who has come today to want to draw nearer to you. And your word promises, Lord, that when we draw near to you, you will draw near to us. And so we ask Holy Spirit that you will be here with us today. Help us to know that you're with us. Please forgive us for our sins. Have your way within us, Lord. Do a work within us, whatever it is that you got to do to make things right within us. Because ultimately, this journey through life is figuring out

how to navigate that road of righteousness that leads to your glory. But I thank you for the faithfulness of every heart that has chosen to take those steps.

So we love you, Lord, and we just pray that you will speak clearly to us today.
