Today we are in Second Chronicles chapter 7 through 8.

We will visit one psalm and reading from the ESV by Crossway Translation.

But before we begin, let's go ahead and pray and prepare our hearts for God's word.

Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for this day. We thank you for the breath in our lungs.

We thank you for the ability to see, to hear, to be able to come into your presence freely. Lord, I pray that you will open up our eyes and ears and hearts to be able to hear you, to see you, and to receive your word today. This is our daily manna. You've given us a brand new start today. And so I pray, Lord, that there will be a divine message ready and waiting for us to be able to hear today. Even if it isn't

written in this word today, we know Holy Spirit that you will speak to us in our spirits and in our

hearts. Please forgive us if we have fallen short in any way, if we have crossed over the line or if we've

just hurt your heart. I pray that you will bring it to our attention, Lord, if we are unaware.

We know that saying ignorance is bliss, but not always. This is one of those cases, Lord, if we are unaware. We know that saying ignorance is bliss,

but not always. This is one of those cases, Lord, where we need to be aware. We need to know what is going on. And so I pray that if we need to make anything right, that you will show us how to do that, give us the courage to do it. And I just pray, Lord, that we will walk away from that feeling even more free. That is what you desire for us. Freedom. And so I pray

that we'll walk in that today. Help us to also forgive others, Lord, because that's a big part of

walking in freedom, as being able to set others free that we're holding captive. Please don't lead us

into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Lord. Keep the enemy far away from us today, especially right now

in this time that is so sacred. I pray that you silence all distractions so that we can just

focus solely on you. We love you. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen. And one correction,

we are actually in Second Chronicles chapters six and seven today. I don't even know what I said
