0:07.0	Yesterday Solomon finished building the temple and now he needs to furnish it.
0:17.0	Today he and the Levites move all the holy furniture, including the Ark of the Covenant, from the Tabernacle to the Temple.
0:24.4	There's a good chance he's heard stories about the time his dad David caused a man to die
0:28.7	while moving the Ark improperly, so he makes sure to transport it according to God's laws on poles carried by priests.
0:36.9	The priest deposit the arc in the Holy of Holies and pretty immediately God's cloud of
0:41.0	presence swoops in and fills the place.
0:43.0	As the priests are trying to leave the temple, they're falling over because they can't even
0:47.8	stand in the midst of such a heavy concentration of God's presence.

0:55.2	saturation when he wants to. Then Solomon offers up a blessing, praising God for
1:00.7	fulfilling his promise to David, and he also says,
1:04.0	The Lord has said that he would dwell in thick darkness.
1:07.0	I have indeed built you an exalted house, a place for you to dwell in forever.
1:12.0	We kind of have to cut Solomon off right there
1:14.4	because technically no it's a nice thought that God would live in this
1:18.0	particular house forever but that's never been God's plan. God never said that.
1:21.9	Okay moving on.
1:24.0	In 1st King's 829, Solomon makes an interesting statement.
1:28.0	He says, that your eyes may be open night and day toward this house,
1:32.0	the place of which you have said,
1:34.0	my name shall be there.
