0:13.2	Today we drop in on Solomon as he's preparing to build the temple.
0:16.6	He wants the best of the best material so he does some negotiating with the King Nextor
0:20.6	and Tyra, which is in Lebanon, just north of Israel.
0:23.8	Previously King Hiram of Tyra had a great relationship with Solomon's dad David.
0:29.7	And even though Hiram is a Gentile, today he even recognizes and blesses God and his
0:34.2	work on Israel's behalf.
0:36.0	So he and Solomon are after a great start.
0:38.7	Hiram has access to incredible cedar trees in his country.
0:41.8	They can grow to be 100 feet tall.
0:44.2	That's a 10 story building.
0:46.4	And not only that, but their lembrachacks use some special logging techniques that have

0:53.3	As Solomon and Hiram are negotiating, Solomon tries to send some of his guys to quote
0:57.9	them, quote, help out with cutting the cedar trees.
1:01.1	But he's probably doing that as a means of finding out their logging techniques.
1:05.7	Hiram seems to pick up on this and maybe assumes that Solomon is being sneaky so he plays
1:09.8	it cool.
1:10.8	He says, oh, that's so nice of you to offer.
1:13.0	What a great idea.
1:14.0	But how's about we just bring it to you and save you the trip?
1:16.7	Then you can just give us some food and exchange for it.
