0:13.2	Today Solomon opens by talking to us about how to walk and wisdom to avoid sin.
0:17.8	It seems to involve a lot of careful attention and thoughtful planning.
0:21.0	It doesn't happen on accident.
0:23.7	In chapter 22, he uses a lot of phrases like, the prudent sees danger and hides himself.
0:29.4	And guard your soul and apply your heart and encourage his parents to train up their
0:34.6	children with wisdom.
0:36.7	Verse 5 specifically says, Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked, who ever guards
0:41.7	his soul will keep far from them.
0:45.0	Solomon encourages us to take care to steer clear of things that will ensnare us.
0:49.6	It makes me want to be mindful of what things take my eyes and affections off God, what
0:54.1	derails me, what traps do I fall into.
0:57.7	Starting of traps, verse 14 jumped out at me too.
1:01.3	It says, The mouth of forbidden women is a deep pit.
1:05.1	He with whom the Lord is angry will fall into it.
1:08.4	The phrase, He with whom the Lord is angry caught my attention.
1:11.9	So I spent a few minutes looking into that.
1:14.6	The deeper meaning of the phrase is something closer to, He who is cursed of the Lord, which
1:19.5	would, of course, be the person who is not in relationship with God.
1:23.7	And again, it's important to remember that these little wisdom nuggets aren't promises
1:26.8	or prophecy.
1:28.3	This isn't saying God lures people into adultery.
