0:10.6	Did you discover anything good in our reading today? I bet you did, and I hope that whatever it was,
0:18.5	you'll spend some more time thinking about it today. Because Proverbs 1620 says,
0:23.2	whoever gives thought to the word will discover good.
0:26.7	Ponder the word, dwell in it and let it dwell in you.
0:29.5	Be intentional about it.
0:30.8	Wisdom is never an accident.
0:33.3	One of the things I noticed that I want to spend more time thinking about
0:36.1	showed up twice in Proverbs 16, and it's the idea of sweetness of speech.
0:41.6	Verse 21 says, the wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.
0:49.1	Verse 24 says,
0:51.1	Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
0:56.8	I don't know if you've ever eaten honeycomb or not, not the cereal, but it's amazing and
1:01.4	super healthy. I want to speak words like that, gracious, sweet, life-giving words. It's so easy
1:08.9	to default to sarcasm or slander or skepticism, but I want him to transform
1:13.7	my heart in such a way that it flows out of my mouth. And God knows speech control and self-control
1:19.8	go hand in hand. Verse 32 points to that as well. It says, whoever is slow to anger is better than the

1:30.9	This proverb points out that it's more challenging to control ourselves than to win a war against
