Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble, and I'm your host for the Bible Recap.

0:10.6

Did you discover anything good in our reading today? I bet you did, and I hope that whatever it was,

0:18.5

you'll spend some more time thinking about it today. Because Proverbs 1620 says,

0:23.2

whoever gives thought to the word will discover good.

0:26.7

Ponder the word, dwell in it and let it dwell in you.

0:29.5

1:08.9

to default to sarcasm or slander or skepticism, but I want him to transform

1:13.7

my heart in such a way that it flows out of my mouth. And God knows speech control and self-control

1:19.8

go hand in hand. Verse 32 points to that as well. It says, whoever is slow to anger is better than the

1:26.3

mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he

1:29.3

who takes a city.

1:30.9

This proverb points out that it's more challenging to control ourselves than to win a war against

1:36.5

others.
