0:13.3	Today we continue in Proverbs with the Father's instructions to His Son.
0:17.1	He's telling Him general truths for what it looks like to live and walk in the fear of
0:20.5	the Lord, in ways that engage with God on a level of delight and awe.
0:25.7	Proverbs 4.7 always makes me laugh.
0:27.6	It says, the beginning of wisdom is this, get wisdom, which is kind of like saying,
0:33.4	the way to be taller is this, grow.
0:37.0	But it does go to show how circular this can actually feel sometimes.
0:40.9	We talked about this yesterday, to recognize that you need wisdom is wise.
0:45.2	The new pursue wisdom and you get wiser and you realize how much more you still have to
0:48.7	learn.
0:49.7	I've heard a relationship with God described in much the same way, that the closer you get
0:54.4	to Him, the further you realize you are from Him.
0:57.2	Whatever you feel that, it's interesting how being closer to the light of God will
1:01.6	illuminate the dark places in us all the more.
1:04.7	We feel conviction about sins that never bother us before.
1:08.2	We see positive changes in negative attitudes that we used to pride ourselves on.
1:13.4	He really does work such a change in us that we can't access on our own.
1:17.9	He does the doing.
1:19.8	Romans 1136 addresses this kind of circular spiritual mystery.
1:23.9	It says, from Him through Him and to Him are all things.
1:28.9	He is the source, supply and goal.
