0:00.0	Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible Recap.
0:07.0	Today we covered eight Psalms. In our first chapter, Psalm 111, there were two words that jumped
0:19.3	out at me and reminded me of what we're doing here. The first is in verse two. It says, great are the
0:25.2	works of the Lord studied by all who delight in them. We're studying his works.
0:30.3	And I bet you're finding more and more to praise him about discovering more of his greatness along the way.
0:36.0	And did you notice the word delight in there?
0:39.0	That connects us with the other thing that jumped out at me, which was in verse 10.
0:42.0	It says,
0:43.4	the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. All those who practice it
0:47.4	have a good understanding. I will continue to point out that the fear of the
0:51.4	Lord is comprised primarily of delight in awe,
0:54.0	and this verse says that viewing God rightly is where wisdom begins,
0:57.6	and that those who practice the fear of the Lord have good understanding.
1:04.8	I made a little note in my journal that says, what does it look like for me to practice the fear of the Lord?
1:09.2	Psalm 112 points out again that delight is one of the components of the fear of the Lord.
1:14.1	First one says, Blessed is the man who fears the Lord who greatly delights in his
1:18.3	commandments. And that word blessed can also be translated as happy.
1:23.2	There's a happiness in this pursuit of God.
1:26.1	Those who delighting God's laws will surely be living them out, right?
1:29.8	This is how righteousness takes over a person's life. It starts in the heart and works its way out
1:34.6	through our actions. We don't create our own righteousness. It happens when God changes our hearts.
1:41.3	Verse 4 is so encouraging. It says, Light dawns in the darkness for the upright.
