1:04.4	Amnon defiles Tamar. Now Absalom, David's son had a beautiful sister whose name was Tamar, and after a time Amnon,
1:13.4	David's son, loved her.
1:15.4	And Amnon was so tormented that he made himself ill because of his sister Tamar, for she was
1:20.2	a virgin and it seemed impossible to Amnon to do anything to her.
1:23.9	But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimea, David's brother,
1:29.0	and Jonadab was a very crafty man. And he said to him, O son of the king, why are you so
1:34.6	heggard morning after morning? Will you not tell me? Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother
1:40.6	Absalom's sister. Jonadab said to him, Lie down on your bed and pretend to be ill.
1:46.3	And when your father comes to see you, say to him,
1:48.7	let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat and prepare the food in my sight that I may see it,
1:53.5	and eat it from her hand.
1:55.6	So, Amnon lay down and pretended to be ill.
