The House Rules Committee is set to meet on it around 1 a.m.

This is a critical step to get the bill on the floor before the GOP's self-imposed deadline on Thursday.

But Republicans are still facing some pushback from within their party.

Earlier, President Trump went to Capitol Hill to try and convince some of the GOP holdouts.

Behind closed doors, he told them, quote, don't F around with Medicaid.

And he told members pushing for higher state and local tax deductions to, quote, unquote, let it go.
