So we are in 1st Samuel chapters 15 through 17 today, reading from the ESV by Crossway Translation.

Our Father who are in heaven, hallow it be your name. You are holy, you are awesome. You are almighty. You are our champion. Thank you, God, for being here with us today in this

space and time. I pray that you will be glorified in all things, in our thoughts, in the way that we

read today and hear your voice. I pray that you will be glorified, God, in our actions once we leave

this space. I pray that this will not be a one-time drop in the bucket, Lord, but this will be something that

is written on our heart so that when we walk out there today into the world, we are able to apply this word, God. I pray that your Holy Spirit will continue to guide us that will bring to mind any scripture that we have been reading thus far. Lord, as we draw near to you, we know that you also draw near to us.

So we just thank you for that. We glorify you for it. We give you all of the praise and all of the honor, for you are worthy of it. Forgive us of our sins, Lord, I pray that you will please wash us clean today, purify our hearts, open up our eyes and our ears and our hearts to be able to receive your word from you today. And we just ask,

Lord, that you will do a work within us like nobody else can. There's nothing that this world can offer that you can, Lord. We love you so much. And thank you for this time in Jesus' name. Amen.
