is glorious.

Jesus showed himself to his disciples, alive, strong, and scarred but risen. His resurrected body proved he really defeated death.

He spoke peace over his followers and began sending them into the world to share this good news.

Now let's hear it straight from God's word.

John 20, 19 through 20 says,

On the evening of that first day of the week,

when the disciples were together,

with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders,

Jesus came and stood among them and said,

Peace be with you. After he said this, he showed them his hands inside. The disciples were

overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Mercy me, Can you imagine that moment?

The doors were locked tight and then, bam, Jesus was there.

Not as a ghost, not just a vision, but in a real risen body.

They saw the scars.

They heard his voice.

They knew it was him.

And that leads us to our big question for today.
