All about Robert F Kennedy, not Robert F Kennedy Jr.

No, Kennedy senior.

And this figure who of course assassinated in 1968 became a beloved civil rights leader and martyr and and the the man who spoke most passionately in 1968 to the concerns of America's racial divide.

And in fact, he was an immensely complicated and very dark, complex, and man public figure obsessive and and a very dangerous attorney general.

Very should not be a role model for anyone and yet I think has become like a role model for the current kind of prosecutors that we see on television, people like Andrew Weisman, which is to say people who who prosecute the man and not the crime.

And you quote in the course of the podcast, a remarkable passage from Robert Jackson, right.

And I think that this is a very important thing to do with this.

On this very topic that the temptation for law enforcement is to take a person and then and then pin a crime to that person and that this is the great threat of our prosecutorial system that it empowers people to do that sort of thing and and Robert F Kennedy was a particular example of this as it not only as attorney general but when he worked as a Senate staffer.
