0:00.0	Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible Recap. Yesterday Moses finished telling the Israelites about the blessings for keeping
0:16.3	their covenant with God and the curses for breaking it. Today he opens by
0:20.4	basically telling them look you're gonna're going to break this covenant.
0:23.2	God knows it, I know it, you know it.
0:25.2	So here's what you need to remember when that happens.
0:28.1	Repent.
0:29.2	Turn back to God.
0:30.4	He won't abandon you.
0:31.8	He will restore everything you lost when you turned your back on him.
0:35.0	Yesterday we read in 29-4 that God has not yet given them a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear. But today we read about what will happen
0:45.0	when they do sin and are carried into captivity. God will use those circumstances to change
0:50.5	their hearts.
0:52.4	Chapter 30 verse verse 6, says,
0:54.0	The Lord your God will circumcise your heart
0:57.0	and the heart of your offspring,
0:58.0	so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart
1:02.0	and with all your soul that you may live.
1:05.1	God promises that he will change their hearts.
1:07.7	Then they will turn to him and begin to obey him.
1:10.0	Finally!
1:11.2	That's what happens when God gives someone a new heart, their desires change.
1:16.0	Remember that the word heart here is a mingling of the words we use for heart and mind.
