0:07.0	Yesterday Moses finished telling the Israelites about the blessings for keeping
0:16.2	their covenant with God and the curses for breaking it. Today he opens by basically telling
0:21.1	them, look, you're going to break this covenant.
0:23.2	God knows it, I know it, you know it.
0:25.1	So here's what you need to remember when that happens.
0:28.1	Repent, turn back to God.
0:30.4	He won't abandon you.
0:31.8	He will restore everything you lost when you turned your back on him.
0:35.0	Yesterday we read in 29-4 that God has not yet given them a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear. But today we read about what will
0:44.6	happen when they do sin and are carried into captivity. God will use those
0:48.9	circumstances to change their hearts. Chapter 30, verse 6, says,
0:54.7	The Lord your God will circumcise your heart
0:57.0	and the heart of your offspring,
0:58.6	so that you will love the Lord your God
1:01.2	with all your heart and with all your soul that you may live.
1:05.1	God promises that he will change their hearts.
1:07.7	Then they will turn to him and begin to obey him.
1:10.0	Finally, that's what happens when God gives someone a new heart.
1:13.4	Their desires change.
1:16.0	Remember that the word heart here is a mingling of the words we use for heart and mind.
1:20.7	It's where desire and will overlap. and it's what drives our actions. Without a new heart,
