0:13.2	Today we enter a section of laws that pertain to cleanness and uncleanness, which if you
0:17.4	recall is one of the areas God told the priest to be mindful of.
0:21.2	We'll be in this section today and a little bit of tomorrow.
0:24.2	Today starts with God giving instructions on what to eat and what not to eat.
0:28.2	If you felt like this had echoes of Eden in it, you can eat this but don't eat that,

1:01.0	In fact, one of the ways modern archaeologists can tell when and where ancient Jews lived

1:09.2	Pigs were wildly popular food among the canonites, whom I've never felt such a kinship with

1:15.1	So there are pig bones all over pagan country, but not where gods people lived.
1:20.6	They're also not allowed to eat anything that dies on its own, it has to be killed.
1:24.6	Especially because if it dies on its own, it might have a disease.
