0:00.0	It's day 22 of the HeartDive 365. I am your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the
0:05.3	HeartDive podcast. Well, today we are in Genesis chapter 30 and 31, where we are
0:15.7	witnessing the power struggle between the two sisters, Rachel and Leah, and then also
0:20.6	between Jacob and his father-in-law
0:22.8	Laban. But before we get into it, just one quick reminder that if you ever wonder, where in the world
0:28.1	did she get that information? I do have all of the references listed below of the three main sources
0:33.4	that I am using in this Bible study, so you can check that out if you ever want to refer to any of those
0:38.4	wonderful study sources. Now, I will say that I don't agree 100% with everything that is written
0:44.2	in those books. I always say we all have to be personally responsible and diligent in our own
0:49.5	studying and not simply relying on secondhand knowledge. Like the Word of God is our ultimate commentary.
0:55.4	It's our ultimate source.
0:56.9	But of course, we have teachers and scholars who have gone before us,
1:00.8	done the dirty work, done the hard work to help us better understand that.
1:04.3	But sometimes those interpretations can be a little bit skewed or maybe different
1:09.3	than what we believe or what our heart feels is right.
1:12.7	So the main thing is that we never waver from the gospel, but there may be some disagreements
1:18.0	with other parts of theology. And I think we just have to be conscious of that. And just remember
1:23.0	that we're in the same direction. We're on the same boat. And with that said, let us pray and get
1:27.4	into it.
1:28.3	Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this time that we get to spend with you.
1:31.3	Oh, Lord, will you just hear our hearts cry today, that we want to know you more?
