0:00.0	Day 9 of the Heartbeat of God. I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.
0:11.8	I know so many of us are heavy-hearted today as we turn on the news and we see the grave images of what is going on in California.
0:19.7	So before we do anything, I wanted to start off with prayer so that we can come together
0:24.6	corporately, to stand together in unity, and to lift up all of those who are affected by the
0:30.6	devastating wildfires.
0:31.6	So Heavenly Father, we cry out to you today, God with heavy hearts.
0:36.6	So many of us are watching the devastation that
0:39.4	is occurring in California. It is what people are calling hell on earth. We don't know what the
0:45.3	apocalypse will be, but we see what seemed to be apocalyptic images as these wildfires are
0:52.0	raging through neighborhoods and communities, and all that is left
0:56.1	are the memories that once lived there.
0:58.5	We see history that has been burnt to a chaff.
1:01.5	So God, we lift them up to you today and ask that you will calm the winds, continue to
1:06.0	bring them down, Lord, and open the heavens to quench the flames.
1:10.2	We know and trust that you are sovereign, but you are also merciful.
1:14.3	So we lift up to you, God, those who have already suffered loss and property, loss of loved
1:19.8	ones, and loss of animals.
1:22.0	Please surround them with your love today, Lord.
1:24.0	Comfort them and strengthen them as they begin to navigate now the process of
1:28.7	recuperating and rebuilding their lives. Will you give them peace in this time? It is a horrific time
1:35.1	for them. We cry out to you, Jehovah Jira, to provide for their every need, and we pray for those
1:41.4	who are tirelessly fighting the fires, every first responder, every
