0:12.3	Today we read about the first children, Kane and Abel.

0:22.8	Kane and Abel carried out the sin nature of their parents.
0:25.5	The thing about being not God is that we're by nature less than perfect.
0:29.6	Yesterday, when God finished creating, he declared it very good and he blessed man.
0:34.2	But being very good and being blessed are entirely different than being perfect and complete.
0:39.4	There is zero chance that imperfect man would live up to God's standard of perfection,
0:44.2	and we saw that played out today when Cain murdered his brother Abel.
0:48.2	What's interesting to me in this passage is that this murder happened about 2,500 years
0:52.5	before God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.
0:55.2	But, Cain still knew murder was wrong, even though it hadn't been written out on the tablets.
1:00.5	Those stone tablets weren't necessary for mankind to know right from wrong.
1:04.3	Kane even knew what justice required. He knew there would be a natural consequence for his actions,
1:09.6	because in 414, he feared other people
1:11.8	killing him in response to him killing his brother.
1:14.7	One of the things people often ask when they read this story is, where did Cain's wife come from?
1:19.4	Because we see in 417 that he got married.
1:22.0	Scripture points to all humanity being descended from Adam and Eve, so it doesn't seem like
