Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible Recap.

Today we read about the First children, Kane and Abel. And speaking of children, if you have any nearby, you may want to preview this episode before sharing it with them. So just a heads up on that.

One of the things people often ask when they read this story is, where did Kane's wife come

1:18.8

from?

1:19.8

Because we see in 417 that he got married.

1:22.3

Scripture points to all humanity being descended from Adam and Eve,

1:25.7

so it doesn't seem like God created a bunch of people

1:28.0

independent of them.
