Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard. We got a big week in front of us. We do. Had a good weekend. Hope you guys did too.

Got a big men's basketball win. They're all big on the road. We're going to break that down in our first segment of the show a couple of baseball scrimmages sunday was rained out but we will uh resume play today 3 p.m.

some hustling to get the show done uh so we can get out of here and get on down the road and get back out of dirty

noble field and so we'll kind of give you a few observations today wasn't too

many of you out there been kind of cold for baseball especially on Friday Friday

was miserable I can't begin to imagine playing baseball in that weather. But all that I understood, pretty good

weekend for Mississippi State. And now we need a big week ahead of us. I'd like to congratulate Darius

Slay of the Philadelphia Eagles and Chris Jones, of course, Kansas, the chiefs. As they advance

through his Super Bowl, Slay a chance to get his first ring. I believe it's four for Chris. If you can get this one, you start thinking about that, too, that whole Hall of Fame thing for us. You know, does Fletcher get in? I think Fletcher gets some votes. I don't know if he gets in. Maybe he should.

I don't know that he will.

I'm biased, of course.

But I think Chris Jones is kind of making his case to be in a hall of fame.

And still, I'm very, very, very, very, very impressed with what Chris is doing these days.

But nevertheless, this is a big, big basketball week on both the men's and the women side.

I would suspect that maybe this week, you know, you make it a split, split but man if you could somehow win them both

could define the season truly could and how big does that Vanderbilt win look on the road now

i mean it's like these guys are are getting some things going you, we're huge Vanderbilt fans,

is we kind of move ahead now, you know,

because that's only going to help you in the net,

the better they do, the better we do.

You know, it's outstanding work, man.
