Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Monday edition of the yard later in the day.

Again, it's Mondays are busy for me. They really are. I don't dread Mondays, but it is a very busy day.

And I've looked forward to this today because this is like I knew once I sat down to record

the bone yard like the work day would be over even though this takes you know some time but I look

forward to doing this show had a couple big articles today free ones interviewed a lot of

you magna me this morning a lot of parallels between the 2018 and 2025 baseball

seasons and I thought hey who better to talk to than Elijah Magdeme. Of course a big

walk-off home run against Florida State and a regional hit the home run against

Florida in game one of that series at the end the regular season was big had to walk off against

Vanderbilt first game with the Reed Super Regional there was a lot of good good moments with

Magum remembers the Maroon Magic and then worked the phones today, got some

intel, and put together kind of a primer of what to expect with the NCAA selection

committee.

Not just for us, but just kind of some of the decisions that they face.

I don't know that I would want to be on that committee.

Like I would want to do it anonymously, right? Because I wouldn't want to have to deal with all the social media stuff, right? And listen, that's part of being a good leader. I get it. But I'd love to sit down in that room and just kind of break it all down. I watch a lot of college baseball. I follow it very closely. And I think it's neat to see that process kind of unfold.

There's no way that everybody is going to be happy.

There's always going to be somebody that thinks

they got screwed by the committee.

I submit to you that whoever gets Florida and Mississippi

State this year in their bracket is going to feel
