I've been thinking a lot about fantasy football because that's what I do.

Even if this wasn't my job, I think I would be thinking about fantasy football every day.

There was a great question posed in the Slappy Central Discord, which you can be a member of for $5 a month here on the YouTube channel,

from my guy, Nunya Business, which was, does Bucky Irving have the greatest amount of contingency value of any player inside the first five rounds?

And I think the answer to that question is pretty clearly yes.

Were there to be an injury to Sean Tucker?

Were there to be an injury to Kenneth Gainwell?

I mean, I think that we would see Bucky Irving probably be a top 5, 6, 7, 8 running back in fantasy football because

Bucky Irving is quite good, right? I mean, that is the thing that we know about

Bucky Irving. I don't think that you can fake the results that he got in 2024. It's generated

14.3 fantasy points per game on only 46% of the snaps. As we hop into a Best Football Mania draft year, we are drafting out of the seven

slot.

So we might actually have an opportunity to select one Mr. Marquise,

Bucky Irving, in this draft, which might be quite nice.

But I just, I thought that was a very interesting question.

And I wonder, is Bucky Irving overrated or underrated? I think he is one of

the more interesting players to talk about in fantasy football this year. He might be one of the

answers to the question that if you could know the stat line of one player in fantasy football in

2026, what player would it be? I don't know, and we are going to take Jonathan Taylor here.

I do wonder if Bucky Irving might be one of the players where if we knew his stat line at the end of the year,

that would do a lot in terms of generating our strategy. Obviously, Bucky himself would become a great pick.

I mean, you could have 100% of Bucky Irving if you wanted, if you knew that he had a great stat line.
