never really thought that I would see the day that Javante Williams would be on the thumbnail for one of these videos, that Javante Williams would be one of the pivotal pieces in best ball mania.

Never really thought that looking at aging running backs in round three and round four, you've got E.TN on a second contract, Brees on a second contract, Kyran on a second contract,

Javonte Williams on a second contract.

You've got David Montgomery on his third contract.

You've got D'Andre Swift on his third contract.

You've got Ramandre Stevenson on his second,

Chuba Hubbard on his second, Jalen Warren on his second,

Tony Pollard on his third.

It's actually sort of bizarre. I hadn't

gone through and done that analysis yet, but it's actually kind of bizarre just how much

second and third contract running backs are dominating the landscape. I mean, by and large,

if you go kind of look at NFL history, you do obviously have some survivorship bias,

so you always have to think about that when you're analyzing, you know,

who have been the true greats at the position.

Obviously, like the truly great players tend to get second and third contracts

and continue to perform very well.

But there is, at the running back position

a very linear relationship between age and fantasy points. It's actually kind of mind-blowing

just how often age 25, age 26, age 27 seasons are locked in there. We are hopping into a

best ball mania draft in the lens that I want us to look at today

as we hop into these drafts is what are we going to do?

I mean, are we just going to continue to, are we going to continue to capitulate to big running back?
