The 21-22 PGA tour season is in the books Roy McElroy with an incredible comeback.

Six shots back of world number one, Scotty Sheffler claims his third FedEx cup title.

We've talked a lot about this format of the FedEx cup at the tour championship, how we like it, how we don't like it.

It looked like it's going to be a snooze fest on Sunday, six-shot lead for world number one.

Boy, was it not, though? It was extremely exciting coming down the stretch.

I was like the dream situation for the PGA tour, because like you said, six-shot lead,

the way Scotty finished that third round, the birdies, I was like, dude, this thing,

a couple birdies early from Scotty, if he just stays on that form, this thing's done.

And maybe Roy presses the envelope a little bit, tries to make something happen,

makes a bogear, too. Like this could be a eight-ten-shot snooze fest.

And it happened quick, too. I think all of a sudden, it came a ball game,

and then you got two of the best in the world.

I think if you could script this thing for the PGA tour, going in the week like,

who do you want battling in this thing? I'll take Scotty, the guy's been the best all year,

and I'll take Rory, who's for sure the most outspoken guy,

proponent of the PGA tour, all that's going on with live right now.

Have those two guys battling down the stretch, and shed if you didn't get that.

I mean, it ended up being a home run. Could have been really bad,

and now I think they're going to look at the format and see,

told you it works, we've got two of the best in the world.
