where the Mets will be looking to, you know, at least take the season series from the Yanks.

But last time that it was at City Field, we had a bunch of Mets on.

We welcome in Boomer Wells, David Wells to the program. David, before we get into the Subway Series, specifically in one memory that I have of you in the Subway Series against the Mets,

God, you throw a lot of damn innings.

Guys now, these guys get hurt all the time.

They're baby.

They're coming out of games where they have no hitters going on.

Obviously, you have a perfect game on your resume.

What do you think made it you able to throw, you know, 200 innings almost every season into your 40s?

Well, first of all, thanks for having me.

I just the will to pitch, man.

I just, you know, that was my job.

You start the game, you finish the game.

And, you know, that's just the mentality that I had for, you know, for pitching.

I mean, that's what you want to do.

You want to go out there and, you know, finish a game.

I, you know, it looks good when you get a CG.

You don't see any of them anymore.

So you might get the whole league, might get maybe four or five in a total year.

You know, and back when we pitched, guys were getting, you know, 10, 15 a year.
