I've talked about my friend Judge Frederick Block who I met in the green room of an NPR show in New York City many years ago.

He's now in his mid 80s. He's a federal judge in Brooklyn.

I've talked about coach George Ravelling who I've had in the podcast one of my absolute favorite people in the world who's influenced me so much and elder in my life.

And so when I saw this book was coming out I just had to talk to the colonist and journalist David Vandrailey who had written a book about 109 year old man named Charlie White his neighbor when David moved back to Kansas.

And I was just super excited the book is absolutely amazing. It's what I would have dreamed I could have written for my time with Richard Overton and it's just a just a fascinating book.

I was really excited to have this conversation and I think you're really going to like this interview.
