Today we're not gonna have the much commentary

because we are on part two of our series of the Davyad story. So Nick you ready to get

straight into it? Yep. Okay good. This is part five. My second and last attempt to fix my family came Part 5.

My second and last attempt to fix my family came the following day.

It was Sunday.

We're on our way to church and I suggested, in all my six-year-old wisdom, that we take our

concerns to the priest. My father locked on the

brakes so hard I thought it might fly clear to the front seat. My mother

glared down at me. I thought Johnny was going to skin me alive the way he looked

at me.

Jack cried again.

I was told that I should never tell anyone outside of the family what happened.

I decided in that moment that the only way to save our family

from this odd sort of destruction

was to completely ignore the subject of David entirely.

After all, that seemed to be what everyone else wanted.

Days bled away, and eventually I had my first nightmare regarding my old friend. In the dream I was asleep until I felt a light slick prodding at my cheek. I opened my eyes, only to see an eyelis david standing above me.

I woke up screaming and crying. When my mother rushed in to see what was wrong, I lied. I told her I had a nightmare about being chased by a massive dog.

It had been a reoccurring nightmare for me last year, and was the sole reason my father had yet to get the German Shepherd he so desperately wanted.
