So in 2005, I was working on a government contract in Kuwait, and we have to charter a plane to take some VIPs from Kuwait to Bozra, and from Basra to Cook.

And, of course, I was going with them.

So I go through the whole, you know, bidding process.

And, of course, being a government contract, you have to take the lowest bidder.

So they sent pictures of the plane, and I'm like, okay, whatever, that's fine. That's enough room.

We can all get on it and go.

And they came out of Dubai.

So the plane shows up.

Looks very nice from the outside.

And, you know, we get on.

And this is in the middle of June.

So in Kuwait, it was about 120.

There was no air conditioning. It was a twin turbo prop and it was a Russian crew.

And I was like, whatever.

Cool, let's go.

We all get on the plane.

And Basra is probably 10 kilometers from, it's a 10 kilometer flight.

But you have to get up to a certain altitude because when you're landing in a war-torn area,

you have to land above the military airport, right?

So we take off out of Kuwait, and I hear this really high-pitched squealing.

And I'm like, well, this is already starting out pretty bad.
