Honor to be with you today.

You know, look, David, one of the thing I really think that I wasn't, I'm one of those who wasn't paying attention to it either, with all the focus on everything, you know, all the big stuff that's going on.

One of your main points is that the threat to our democracy

isn't all these obvious things. It's not the Marjorie Taylor Greens or the trumps of the world

as much as what's happening, you know more insidious ones

that were not noticing or a lot of and I think a lot of pro-democracy people didn't

focus on at the local and state level.

And it was you who made me wake up to that as bad as it was. How did you, is it because of your work in Ohio? How did you sort of realize this?

Yeah, I mean, I, in some ways I've seen it and lived it in the opposite way
