I'm Joe Devine and welcome to the TIFO Football Podcast. Today I'm joined by Alex Stewart.

We talked about the news that David Moyes has been hired as the new manager of West Ham United.

And we talk more generally about British managers, about the press carousel. Whenever there's a new job available, the same short list of names

seems to be covered. Whose fault is that? Is that sensible? Chairman's press, etc. I would like to say

at this point as well, that very close to the beginning of the podcast, I called a number of managers

English by accident when more than half of them were Welsh or Scottish. So I do apologise to David

Boyes, Mark Hughes. I don't think I did it with Tony Puleas, but just in case I did, Tony Pulest is of

course Welsh. I do know that. I misspoke as a sort of ancient imperialist apologies for that.

Another thing to say is that this is our final week as UMaxit football on November

the 20th, providing there are no further setbacks, we will be releasing our new website and

everything will be moving over to the name of TIFO.

So that's going to be exciting.

We'll remind you of that next week.
