North Garden, Virginia. It's a few days after Christmas, still a few days to go before the new year.

I'm still at my in-laws. I'll be heading home in another day and a half. It's been a good

holiday. How was yours? Did yours go okay? Hopefully everyone has survived. I have a wonderful

talk to share with you today with a gentleman named David Moore.

Before I tell you about that, though, I am reflecting on how this is the last time I will be speaking to you like this until the year turns.

When next we meet, it will be the year 2020.

And whenever I say that,

it's as though I suddenly become a 12-year-old boy

It's crazy how time goes. And I wrote a blog post that just came out a couple of days ago.

Maybe if you were here a few weeks ago I was talking with Jay Fields and she and I were both

part of the yoga blogosphere that existed at one time.

For those of you who, I don't know, maybe I just really dated myself,

but there was a period of time before Facebook where everybody had their own blogs

and common threads, and there was like a very vibrant community of people interacting and writing

and there was this one site yoga dork and jennie lynn the founder of yogadork was on the show

years and years ago you could go back and listen to it and jenny lynn at the end of year, she would reach out to a couple of us bloggers

and she would ask us to do like a year in review or a roundup, a year roundup of what we feel has been

happening in the yoga world and where things are going. You know, what's the zeitgeist?

So it was like an annual ritual of mine.

And I've kind of kept it going to some degree, and this year I rekindled it with my blog post
