Madick. David it's great to have you back on the podcast again. How are you keeping?

Hi Paul, yeah'm yeah keeping well keeping my spirits up despite the

continuing lack of football because we've obviously we've finally got some some games to look forward to.

As you know, it's not been the easiest as a football writer.

Writing about football when there's absolutely no prospect of football actually happening so

so it's really good to see it coming back on the horizon.

It certainly is we're recording this podcast on Tuesday the 9th of June and on

Wednesday the 17th of June we'll have the first games back in the Premier League

with those games in hand.

Albeit there will be no fans there like there be no fans there in the stadium for

for the rest of this season at least is it the right time to come back in your

opinion?

Yes it is and and I think it because it's football can provide this bubble that they're talking about

I don't want to get into this, the kind of corporate speak, but the sort of closed bubble

that they are providing is actually clearly making it safe for players and obviously with no funds allowed in the stadium

I don't think you're going to get issues with it being played and I think it's the right safety is obviously the primary and you know major concern and if you

can provide that then football desperately needs to return for financial reasons as all businesses do and obviously that's a balancing act and

that everybody needs to kind of deliberate and follow and but I think that the just the way that they have

protected the players since they've decided to come back. It kind of proves that it was the right time.
