for a really long time before I got to know him and getting to know him just showed me that my

respect didn't go nearly far enough he's a wonderful human being just a fine man and

a true legend I can never accept the fact man that you're only three years

older than me because you are just so much more successful and oh you've done

all right, Brian.

Yeah, no, it's all been fine.

Your new movie, which I've watched and I think is just terrific,

and I really want to talk about the themes behind it.

We'll get there after we talk about you a little bit is you should have left and you wrote and directed

I guess adapted from a novel and directed and thanks for being here Dave. My pleasure. Thanks for having me. No of course. Um, you know, I mean if people don't I just I just want to quickly I don't usually do this but I just want to

rattle off you know your credits for a second because they are it not just

because they're like gaudy credits Dave but because they show the breadth and depth of what you've been able to accomplish and

and there aren't many careers that are, you know, it ranges from like 1988, your first credit,

to stuff that you have in production or about to be in production now.

And I mean, you wrote Jurassic Park

and I'm bad influences the first movie yours

that I saw and that hit me in the deep way.
