That's what the police are saying.

A motorist slammed into pedestrians and cyclists near Britain's houses of parliament

arrested this morning on suspicions of terrorist offenses. The man is described as being black and wearing a puffa coat.

I have no idea what that is. It must be something British. I say it was pulled from a smoking vehicle surrounded by about a dozen armed officers who had their rifles trained on him.

He is not cooperating with him.

However, he is not known to counterintelligence or counterterrorism sources.

He doesn't have a record, in other words, as far as they have said so far.

He was going about 50 miles per hour as he appeared to intentionally swerve towards Parliament

and smash into a security checkpoint barrier.

There have been people who have been injured.

No one is in a life-threatening condition.

One woman has very serious injuries.

They say a number of pedestrians as well as cyclists were struck.

And, of course, this comes 17 months after Khalid Massoud drove into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge,

right across very near, you know, approaches Westminster there.

They're at the gates of parliament.
