As you join with your family to give thanks to God for what we as a nation have received. And that's something that's unique

about America, isn't it? We're talking about American exceptionalism. Well, this is a tradition

that goes back to when America truly was exceptional. The exception to the rule, a country that

was grateful for the blessings that we had been given by God. I don't think that we have that kind of exception anymore.

I want to give you a couple of examples, and then we're going to talk in just a moment in the next

segment.

We're going to talk about some of the history and what that tells us about the double-think

on immigration, what it tells us about where this country is headed.

But this was a story that came out about a week or so ago.

If you remember this, government denies homeless people food

by rating a charity and pouring bleach on the food.

Why? Because they didn't get the government's permission.

But the government took exception to that. They seized the food. They poured bleach all over it,

and the homeless people who were expecting it went hungry that day.
