0:18.0	But in October of 1997, David was alone in a vault at Luma's Fargo in Charlotte, North
0:23.3	Carolina, a cash processing facility.
0:26.6	He was the vault supervisor, the person in charge of making sure that the vault was secure.
0:39.3	There's a rule about the vault at Luma's Fargo.
0:42.5	You never close it down for the night on your own, because in that vault is almost $20 million.
0:49.5	But David was training a new coworker that day, a new coworker who wasn't yet familiar

0:56.2	And the guy that they left with me didn't know any better.
1:00.5	When I told him, hey man, if you want to go, go like I've got this, I'll be out here in

1:06.6	David then backed an unmarked van belonging to Luma's Fargo into the vault.
1:11.5	And I just started loading the van.
1:14.1	I was pumped up on adrenaline.
1:16.3	I knew that if I was going to do this, I'd have to turn my back on everything.
1:20.9	And to be honest, I really hadn't made up my mind, but I was going to do it.
1:25.2	I didn't make up my mind until that day.
1:28.6	And I knew that as soon as I stole $1, that I couldn't go back.
1:34.3	David knew the moment he stole $1 from Luma's Fargo.
