as the fact that he ran a campaign pitched at white working class anger at so-called globalism

and then stacked his administration with representatives from big finance,

most notably from the great vampireire Squid Goldman Sachs.

A decade after Wall Street blew up the global economy, it is now very much in the driver's seat

in doing what it does best.

And that is to ensure that global capitalism is maximally structured to act as a giant vacuum

cleaner that descends from the economic sky and sucks up as much wealth

as possible from regular people and redistributes it upward to the super rich.

Today, my guest is David Dayan, a journalist who trenchantly covers finance for a number of outlets,
