A better way. You don't have to January the 13th, 2011. This was originally episode 586 an interview with David Crawford

author of the Dumer Prepper novel Lights Out. I want to tell you that David was incredibly

well known in a lot of the forums and email lists and things of the time when

this interview happened and certainly at the beginning of my career

back in 2008 when I started this podcast he was probably one of the best known people in

the space certainly on par with other authors like let's say James Wesley Rawls and dare I say

lights out was a much more interesting read than Patriots the Coming Collapse and a lot more I think grounded in some

level of reality of what something like that would look like. Anyway this was a

really enjoyable interview I did get the good pleasure, especially early in my career

of meeting David in person several times at like

Preper Conventions and things like that.

He's a really genuine dude and a good dude.

I really don't know what he has been up to in recent times

haven't heard from him forever but let's hear from him from the past in fact
