I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.

Each episode I'll read a few chapters from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations, so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair, I got a ton of letters this time. It was great. I've been having so much fun since the last episode reading your emails. You have so many thoughts about Dora. And I cannot wait to

talk to you about them today because it's been such fun reading them. You don't all agree. It's

fantastic. I love this. So please. I, you know, I always say, like, I love your emails. You're never

bothering me. It's so true. I wish you could see me over here. I'm so

giddy and thrilled. It's so much fun to get to talk to people about this wonderful book in

this exact way, because I just feel like these books are meant to be experienced emotionally. They

are not meant to be dissected and taken apart and analyzed. They are meant to be

felt and lived in and experienced. And that's what you guys are doing. And that's what I get to do as

well. And we get to do it together. And it's the best of fun. So thank you for that. Thank you for

being a part of the show in that way and all the ways that you are. And I cannot wait to talk to

you about this chapter and I can't wait to read the next chapter and find out what happens.
