I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.

Each episode I'll read a few chapters from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations, so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea or whatever your

beverages of choice or perhaps just drinking a cup of tea in your mind in your cozy

chair that lives in your mind when you turn on this show.

You know, tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, so later this afternoon I will be baking my grandmother's Irish soda bread recipe,

which is absolutely delicious, and it goes fantastic with a cup of tea. A slice of that with some butter

and a cup of black tea with milk. It's just delicious. So I

highly recommend that if you're anywhere where you could get some Irish soda bread. Have a cup

of tea, have some soda bread. Listen to this show. Heaven, right? So I'm glad that you're here,

though, whether or not you've brought your soda bread and your cup of tea. We are going to be reading chapter 20 today.

I can't believe it. We've made it to 20 chapters of this book, which is amazing and fantastic.
