David is here to chat about his journey from a small town Utah teen, to being thrust into the spotlight at just sixteen and finishing second on American Idol to his recent appearance as Macaw on the juggernaut The Masked Singer where he, once again, finished second. David candidly opens up about his struggles with coming out, the role his faith played in those struggles, a much needed hiatus from the biz to discover himself, reconciling his faith with who he truly is, the media’s obsession with his dating life and the lows he hit growing up on a massive stage, both figuratively and literally, while trying to figure it all out.
