Hey everybody. Welcome to another episode of Chewint. This is Kevin Heffernan. On behalf of Steve Lemmy, thanks for joining us. We got a great episode this week. Our old, old friend David Alvarez, joins us. And we call David the director of sound because he has recorded the sound on pretty much everything we've ever done. Every movie, pretty much every TV show, our stand-up specials.

We met on Puddle Cruiser when we were all young, dumb, and full of gum.

And he worked on Super Troopers and Beer Fest and the Dukes Hazard

and our stand-up specials and TV pilots and everything we've done.

And he's gone on to do other big movies aside from us, like he did Godzilla.

So he's a very established guy in the industry, and it's fun to talk about the technical side of recording sound for movies.

Some of you might be interested in that kind of thing,

and how you go about doing it, and the equipment you need to do it,

and how do you do it on a million-dollar movie versus a hundred million-dollar movie?

So all kind of very cool stuff.

because we've been through a lot

together, including him being Lemmy's accent advisor on Clubbred, and him almost getting fired

from the Dukes of Hazard. All kinds of super funny stories. You guys are going to love this.
