Nomad podcast is back. I suspect most of you hadn't even realised that we've been away,

but we were, albeit very briefly. But now we're back

with all new Nomad, which is mostly the same. I'm Tim Nash, and this is our new co-host, Dave Ward.

Hello. Hi. Now, in the past, Nomad podcast could have been accused of being led by smooth-skinned, pen-pushing, indoor types.

But no more.

Dave is a real man.

He hammers out iron on an anvil, as we've just heard.

He wrestles with horses.

In fact, I once saw him set fire to a horse.

You did?

Yeah, I did, yeah.

Do you remember that?

Oh, yeah.

Apparently, that's all part and part of the process.

So I understand, but there was flames, there was smoke, there was a horse.

Yeah, it just had long fur hanging down and just happened to catch flight, I'm afraid.

And he's got a furnace in the back of his van.

And he's got a mild attachment disorder because his parents sent him to boarding school as a child.

And he's strangely obsessed with number patterns.
