The most important thing is that you don't think of yourself as a comedian because let's be honest.

Did you ever see it was it was a vice who had a run down. It was me when I was on the Tim casts RV me Alex Jones Rogan Blair white and Drew Hernandez.

I was on the list of us all. They said comedian Michael Malice. And I tweeted at them. I said, I'm not a can not only am I not a comedian. I have literally never been funny. I appreciate a correction. And they literally ran a correction that says correction Michael Malice is not a comedian.

So okay, vice ran an article that mentioned me ones and called me a Republican. And I tweeted I tweeted out like I like I think I said I ain't no fucking Republican vice.

Yeah.

And then they ran a correction and went Dave claims to be a libertarian.

Like they made it like is that even just like a thing you can claim to be I'm not a registered Republican like I'm not. It's a fact.

Yeah, or I didn't. Yeah, that's that's interesting. I also had vanity fair when this whole thing when Mila was having a seminar or like a one day free speech event.

And somehow my name was attached to it. And he had not only did he have my name attached to it. He had me listed as speaking about Islam.

I'm like, how do this end up happening? And they ran a fair got the schedule ran it and they refer to me as like a conservative. I complained and they fixed that as well.

So the other thing I have to give people credit for like you and I attack corporate journalists a lot at rightly so. But they are, you know, their editors are happy.

I found like say like 80% of time to actually make that correction because a lot of times it's not germane to the article. The person just being lazy.

It certainly is lazy. The one that that I was referring to when it was vice wrote a piece of you know, of course I was on Rogan. So it's always like that's why they care because you're you're on a podcast with this guy.

But the thing that was so outrageously lazy about it was that I had talked about the libertarian party in that particular episode of the Joe Rogan experience a whole bunch of cheese.

Like I talked a whole lot about it and I blasted Republicans a lot in the episode. So it was just like, I mean, I guess I give him credit for making the correction. But like, if you're going to write something.

I don't know. It just seemed very, you know, it's like the laziness was astounding like that they would go, well, this guy Dave Smith who's on the podcast, I'm just going to write Republican. I mean, he's against the vaccine mandate. So obviously he'd have to be like, you didn't even listen to the show before you to add that.

Or just look at your Twitter account for five seconds. Yeah. And in their world, I guess that's a pejorative like, okay, look, he's a Republican. So Rogan had this Republican on and was making all these points. But I get I agree with you that, all right, they should get a little bit of credit, I guess, for making the correction.
