0:17.8	I've never done this before, but since Andy's product is something that I thought is of
0:22.2	interest to a lot of you and bears explaining at length, I was happy to bring him on to discuss

0:36.0	Andy, can you explain why you had this idea and how it works as an alternative to traditional

0:43.4	Yeah, sure.
0:44.4	So I had sold my company and it was rolling off of that.
0:47.0	And so like many Americans was not getting my health insurance to my employer.
0:51.1	And so I went to healthcare.gov, which I thought was my only alternative.
0:55.4	My wife and my two girls got on as $1,200 a month.
0:59.4	And it worked great until I actually had to use it.
1:01.4	So my little one was having a recurring ear infection.
1:04.7	So we go to the ear nose and throat doctor who said she needs tubes in her ears, go to
1:08.6	the local hospital, get tubes in her ears, got the bill for $8,000 for 15 minute procedure.
1:15.6	And the health insurance plan said they weren't going to cover it because it was medically
1:21.0	unnecessary.
1:22.4	Even though we have an ear nose and throat doctor looking into her ears, she had a perforated
1:26.1	ear drum and said it was medically unnecessary.
