When you talk about TV wrestling, maybe the darkest day in the history of pro wrestling.

Will forever be known as Black Saturday July 14th, 1984. Well, I'm 13 and so are you and or 12.

And was the day before it was the day before my 13th birthday.

Well, it's it was a thing, but here's here's how I look at this. I didn't understand that was going on.

And for me, I was just like, wait, George championship wrestling, but wrestling was on.

So I was I was okay with it. Later, I understand and that's growing up as an adult. I understand

what the hell actually happened. So let me explain. Let me explain Tommy for those who don't know and

there's probably a lot of people that obviously know about and it is it is called Black Saturday.

And I was the day that Vince McMahon and the WWF took over the time slot that was always occupied

for years and years by Georgia championship wrestling. And let's let's tell a little bit of a

backstory here, Tommy. Obviously Vince McMahon Jr. took over the WWF from his father, Vince McMahon

Sr. And there was always like Tommy and always jump in and correct me if I'm wrong. There was always

a code of ethics when it came to pro wrestling organizations. And that is there was the territory

days and they stayed in their territory. And it was kind of like an agreement with all the
