So, So today on The Untold Story with Martha McCallum, which is Say Moi, I am delighted to be joined by Dave Rubin, who has written his second book.

The first book, as you all know, was called Don't Burn This Book. and the second book is Don't Burn This Country, Surviving and Thriving in Our Woke Dysopia.

So, Dave, first of all, congratulations on the book, and it's great to have you with us.

Thanks, Martha. It's good to be with you. If the first book had fully worked as anticipated,

that I wouldn't have had to have written the second book, and I suspect I'll have to write a third

book, but here we are. You know, well, I was thinking about you as I was getting ready for this

podcast, and I was thinking about something I did over the weekend. I was in Charleston, South

Carolina, and we went out on a boat to go see Fort Sumter.

And there was a really good National Park Ranger who gave this great talk on what happened at Fort Sumter in the beginning of the Civil War and the battle there.

And then he asked for volunteers to help with this enormous 10 by 20 American flag that

they then raised at the end because he had already talked about the, you know, the Confederate flag

that had been flying there and, um, and freedom and everything. And what, what the flag meant to

the people who were enslaved in south carolina at the time

who felt that you know it didn't apply to them the freedoms that that were being fought for so um

this woman turned to me so i volunteered to you know help unfold the flag and hold it while he

hung it up with some of my kids and this woman he was talking about freedom and how, you know, in this
